Anavar and Anadrol are the most commonly used steroids in the Olympics and in many other sports. There are wide variety steroids that are available in the market and some are also sold in the black market for a cheaper price. There are steroids that are illegal, toxic and harmful to the human body. Though these steroids are banned in the international games like the Olympics these steroids are taken in cycles and in a precise manner that enable them to have a very low content of steroids in the body of the athletes. Thus the Olympic tests prove to be below the maximum level that is allowed.

The testing of steroids on the athletes started in 1930s by some scientists in Amsterdam. They removed a certain chemical from the testicles of the bull and called it as testosterone. It was initially tested on animals and found that it was effective and improved the muscles in the body of the animals. In 1940s the Russians got to know about this and they started using it on the weightlifters and other sports personals as it gives strength and improves muscle growth. By 1950s steroid use was popular all round the world.

It was then that the Olympic Association decided to take action on this and banned the use of steroids in the games. The reason for banning steroids is to keep the competition clean and make it sports oriented game.

Steroids like Anavar and Anadrol are very mild steroids that can give high doses of energy and are less harmful to the human body. These are common among the body builders and among the extreme sports personals.
